These Terms of Service govern purchases and use of products, services, content, and resources provided by ApexEngineer.

By purchasing or using an ApexEngineer product or service, you agree to these Terms.

Educational and Career-Development Services:

ApexEngineer provides educational resources, career-development products, resume-writing services, templates, examples, and related information intended to help engineering students, recent graduates, and other job seekers improve their job-search materials and processes.

ApexEngineer is not an employer, recruiter, staffing agency, immigration consultant, lawyer, university, engineering regulator, or employment agency.

No Guarantee of Employment

ApexEngineer does not guarantee:

• Interviews

• Job offers

• Internships

• Employment

• Salary increases

• Acceptance by an applicant tracking system (“ATS”)

• Responses from recruiters or employers

• Admission to any professional organization

• Any particular career or hiring outcome

Employment outcomes depend on numerous factors outside ApexEngineer’s control, including your qualifications, experience, location, immigration or work authorization status, job-market conditions, competition, employer requirements, interview performance, and hiring decisions.

Statements describing previous results or experiences are provided for informational purposes and do not guarantee that another person will achieve the same result.

Accuracy of Client Information:

​

Clients are responsible for ensuring that information supplied to ApexEngineer is truthful, complete, and accurate.

​

ApexEngineer will not knowingly fabricate:

• Employment experience

• Job titles

• Education

• Certifications

• Technical skills

• Project experience

• Responsibilities

• Accomplishments

• Metrics or results

• Professional credentials

Any examples, suggested wording, bullet structures, or templates provided by ApexEngineer must be adapted to accurately represent the user's real experience.

Resume Rewrite Service

The resume rewrite service is based on information supplied by the client.

Clients are responsible for supplying sufficient and accurate information for ApexEngineer to complete the service.

​

24-hour turnaround begins once payment has been received and ApexEngineer has received all information reasonably required to complete the resume. Delays in providing requested information may extend the delivery time.

Digital Products:

​

Digital products, including the Engineering Career Kit and related templates, frameworks, scripts, guides, worksheets, or resources, are provided for educational and personal career-development purposes.

The purchaser is responsible for determining how the information applies to their individual circumstances.

​

Personal-Use License:

Unless expressly stated otherwise, ApexEngineer digital products are licensed to the original purchaser for personal, non-commercial career-development use only.

​

You may not, without written permission from ApexEngineer:

• Copy or reproduce the product for distribution

• Share purchased materials with other people

• Resell or sublicense the materials

• Redistribute the materials

• Upload them to public websites, forums, shared drives, repositories, or file-sharing platforms

• Use them to create or sell a competing product or service

• Remove copyright or proprietary notices

• Reproduce substantial portions for commercial purposes

Purchasing a product grants you a license to use the material; it does not transfer ownership of ApexEngineer’s underlying intellectual property.

​

Ownership of Custom Resume

Once full payment has been received, the client may use the final custom resume delivered to them for their personal job search and career purposes.

​

ApexEngineer retains ownership of its pre-existing methodologies, templates, frameworks, processes, educational materials, systems, and other intellectual property used in creating the document.

​

Third-Party Employers and Platforms

ApexEngineer is not affiliated with or endorsed by employers, recruiting platforms, applicant tracking systems, universities, or engineering organizations merely because they are referenced in educational materials.

References to companies or platforms are for informational or illustrative purposes unless expressly stated otherwise.

Limitation of Liability:

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ApexEngineer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from use of its products, services, website, or educational materials.

​

Governing Law:

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

​

Digital Products:

Due to the immediately accessible nature of digital products, purchases of downloadable ApexEngineer digital products are generally final once access or delivery has been provided, except where a refund is required by applicable law.

​

This includes the Engineering Career Kit and other downloadable guides, templates, or resources.

If you experience a technical problem accessing a purchased product, contact [SUPPORT EMAIL] and we will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue.

​

Resume Rewrite Service:

Because resume rewriting involves customized work performed specifically for the client, refunds are generally not available after the completed resume has been delivered, except where required by applicable law.
